Moving to Arizona

We are so glad that you are considering moving to Phoenix. Phoenix is a great community, and a really fantastic place to live. Phoenix has year-round mild weather (yes, the summers are hot, but you get used to them!) and life here is enjoyable, and affordable.

Phoenix and Scottsdale have many amenities to suit an Orthodox family, making it unique among smaller, out-of-town communities. There are numerous shuls and restaurants, an eruv,  and we also have a choice of preschools, day schools, a boys’ high school and a girl’s high school. Phoenix is also home to a kollel, numerous Chabad centers, and two Mikvaos.

Most importantly, Arizona’s unparalleled school choice programs means that you will be paying many thousands of dollars less for tuition than you would in other cities. We have many scholarships available, and in Arizona Jewish day school tuition truly is affordable.

Here is a partial list of the Orthodox institutions that Phoenix has to offer.
