Wednesday was a very exciting day in Kitah Alef. The girls began their hachana l'chumash workbooks in reparation for receiving their very own chumashim. The girls are perfecting the Hebrew reading that they learned in Kindergarten, and are almost ready to learn Hashem's sweet Torah from an actual Chumash. The girls understand what a milestone this is and how important they are as links to the next generation.
We celebrated with a sweet ice cream treat and know that Hashem's Torah is even sweeter. The girls are so proud and can't wait to begin learning! May the excitement and love for Torah they feel today last a lifetime.
