In this week’s parsha, Hashem changed Yaakov’s name to Yisroel. This got us thinking: what’s the difference? I mean, it’s just a name; what’s the big deal? That’s when we discovered that names really are a big deal; they not only serve as a superficial means of identification, they actually define our essence. Wow! Knowing this, we got busy researching our own names in an effort to learn more about ourselves and our unique role here, in this world. We looked into why we were given our names and
