The fourth-grade boys completed Parshas Shemos and celebrated with a joyous siyum. Now in Vaera, we are already up to the third aliyah. These parshios, although familiar to us from several years of weekly parsha lessons and annual Pesach Seder participation, are still novel to us in the sense that we are seeing the original text for the first time.
